Aims and Scope
Aims & Scope
The Al-Turath Journal for Biology, published electronically six times a year by Al-Turath University, welcomes original manuscripts in English across a wide range of biological disciplines. The journal aims to disseminate high-quality experimental and molecular research that advances fundamental and applied biological sciences.
Scope (Accepted Fields)
1. Molecular Biology, Genetics & Gene Regulation
This section covers experimental and computational research on biological processes at the molecular level. Key focus areas include gene expression mechanisms, transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and repair, epigenetics, structural genomics, and functional molecular genetics.
2. Biochemistry, Proteomics & Systems Biology
Research in this domain emphasizes the biochemical pathways and metabolic interactions within biological systems. It encompasses enzyme kinetics, protein structure and dynamics, metabolic regulation, biological mass spectrometry, high-throughput proteomics, and systems biology modeling.
3. Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology & Bioinformatics
